On August 13, 2023, Secretary Fan Wenming of Tumxuk City from Xinjiang's Second Division led a delegation to visit the Shanghai Institute of Cleantech Innovation for discussions and exchanges. Wang Hui, the General Manager, Vice Managers Liao Bo and Ni Hanfeng, and others from the Cleantech Institute accompanied the inspection. They held discussions with the delegation from Tumxuk City, which included Vice Mayor Chen Zhijie and Vice Mayor Ye Haiying. Liu Yutao and Li Shuzhi from the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center's Material Division also accompanied the inspection.

        Secretary Fan and his delegation first visited the Cleantech Institute, carefully learning about the institute's functional positioning and construction progress. They fully affirmed the laboratory construction, R&D technical level, and the R&D team of the institute.

        At the meeting, General Manager Wang Hui and Deputy General Manager Liao Bo introduced the project background, technological advancement, and market prospects for the high-value utilization of plastics to produce chemicals. Dr. Li Shuzhi from the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center's Materials Department introduced the development history, positioning, and supportive policies for innovative projects by the Innovation Center.
        Secretary Fan stated that the project for the high-value utilization of plastics to produce chemicals aligns well with the national "dual carbon" strategic goals. Tielmenguan City has always been committed to achieving high-value recycling and utilization of agricultural film. The project fits perfectly with Tielmenguan City's development strategy and has good economic and social benefits. They will fully support the industrialization of the project in the Second Division.
