On December 25, 2020, the third Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Conference of Shanghai University of Science and Technology was held in the
Conference Center of Shanghai University of Science and Technology. The project
"Development of high-performance pseudo-thin hydrobite new materials"
jointly proposed by Shanghai Low carbon Technology Innovation Functional
Platform and the School of Material Science and Technology of Shanghai
University of Science and Technology won the first prize of the conference.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference is an important
measure for Shanghai University of Science and Technology to implement the
national innovation-driven development strategy, and is one of the early
incubation platforms for science and innovation industry serving Shanghai
Science and Technology Innovation Center. As an important component of the
"four beams and eight pillars" in the construction of Shanghai
Science and Technology Innovation Center, the Shanghai low-carbon Technology Innovation
Functional Platform has always adhered to the orientation of industrial demand
and is committed to opening up the "last kilometer" of scientific and
technological achievements transformation. Since 2019, the two sides have
carried out all-round and deep-level cooperation in the research field of new
energy materials, promoted the deep integration of innovation chain and
industrial chain
through joint training of students, and jointly contributed to the construction
of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center.
Since its launch, the Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference has received a positive response from a large number of high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and attracted 80 entrepreneurial project teams to compete here, covering key industrial fields such as new energy, new materials, biomedicine and intelligent manufacturing. Chen Miao, the core backbone of the low-carbon functional platform, led 20 graduate students from the School of Material Science and Technology to participate in this competition. She analyzed in detail the importance of pseudo-thin hydrobite new materials in the field of petrochemical industry from the aspects of market demand, technological innovation and business model. With excellent and mature project plans and wonderful speeches, Finally, she stood out in the "new energy/New materials/intelligent manufacturing" category and won the first prize.
This competition marks that the platform's
independent innovation ability in the field of energy materials has been
recognized by the industry, and it is also an important step for the platform
to promote industry-university-research cooperation and innovation. The
platform will take this opportunity to give full play to the market-oriented
role, promote the combination of technological innovation and practical needs, innovate new models of
school-enterprise cooperation, and create new heights for
industry-university-research.
